They've been a huge hit with students, who have named pasta-making one of their favorite recipes we have done as a class. Thursday, December 19, 2024. All Le Sueur-Henderson Public and Private schools and Kids Club will be closed. All after school and evening activities have been postponed or canceled. Little Giants preschool and all ECFE classes are canceled.

AVID Students Design "Ugly Sweaters" for LSH Staff!
Our 9th- 12th grade AVID students have been busy designing "ugly sweaters" inspired by the alma mater of LSH staff members! This fun, creative project celebrates school spirit and brings some festive cheer to our LSH community.
Congratulations to all of the staff and students for their outstanding efforts! According to the USA News story below, out of 455 middle schools in the state of Minnesota, we are ranked among the top 100. Fantastic work!

It’s time to gather your friends, family, and teammates and register for the Polar Plunge! 🧊❄️☃️
On February 1st, we’ll be hopping on buses and heading to St. Peter to jump into freezing cold water—all to support Special Olympics Minnesota and LSH Unified. How cool is that?!
Here’s the deal:

Each participant needs to raise $75 to take the plunge (with this, you get a long-sleeved shirt).
50% of what our team raises comes back to support LSH Unified and all the amazing inclusion work we’re doing right here at LSH. 🌟
Parent permission is needed for anyone under 18 via a waiver form.
This is an awesome way to have fun, make memories, and show your support for inclusion in our community. We’re also looking for staff/parent volunteers to help chaperone students attending the event and take the plunge themselves.
The more people we get to join, the more we can achieve for our LSH Unified mission! So spread the word, rally your crew, and let’s make a splash! 🌊
